» The prime objective of the Association is to promote and encourage the establishment of new derivative and related markets and to promote communication among members, to strengthen their relationship and to transfer information and experience among them.
» At present the seat of Presidency is occupied by Sri Jayantilal J Challani. His effective leadership is being ably assisted by Secretary Sri Santha Kumar S along with a team of both experienced and energetic executive committee members.

» The association has set up an evaluation panel who have been recommended for the evaluation and appraisal of gems and jewellery at the Department of Customs, Central Excise, Department of Sales and Income Tax, The Magistrate, etc.,
» MJDTA is efficiently managed by a group of well experienced, eminent jewellers led by an exemplary leader, Mr. Jayantilal J Challani. It is indeed commendable that the association, due to its system and discipline instilled into the trade, has earned the recognition from the government to be treated as a trade body on par of the chambers of commerce.
It gives me immense pleasure as I reflect back on the memories of the events that had taken place in our esteemed association during my tenure. The events of this past year has allowed me to learn that teamwork is the ability to work together toward a common vision and it is the fuel that allows common people to attain uncommon results. I would like to take this opportunity in thanking my colleagues - the office bearers and the committee members of our association for their whole hearted cooperation and active involvement in making our MJDTA flag reach new heights!
Believing in the fact that “Success is never permanent and failure is never final”, in spite of a few setbacks and ups and downs, our team was able to attain certain accomplishments and noteworthy achievements for our association following the stepping stones of foundation stage set by our great predecessors.
This is all due to the sheer hard work and commitment shown by one and all and also due to the constant valuable guidance received from our esteemed past presidents!
Hoping and praying that our association will be able to achieve greater heights and be of more value and service to our trade in the coming years!
